About Morvenna
My name is Morven Anne Robertson, also known as Morvenna.
I produce unique Scottish artwork, homeware and gifts for distinctive home living, with a fairytale, folklore and gothic edge.
I am inspired by the beautiful landscapes, flora and fauna we have all around us in our wonderful country.
I like nothing more than bringing ancient folktales, gothic narratives and anything fairylike into my art. However, I also just love painting beautiful creatures and scenes - whatever and wherever they may be.
I work predominantly in watercolour and a variety of inks but I also enjoy working with pastels and I’m always trying out new techniques. I also delight in bringing digital elements into my work.
The Story So Far…
I completed my Foundation Studies in Art and Design at Leeds College of Art and Design and graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Multimedia Technology from Leeds Becket University in 2007, specialising in Graphic and Video Design.
Since graduating I have been working in various design and marketing environments. However, art has always been my true passion and I am now running my Morvenna boutique online shop and enjoying every minute of it - I only wish now I had set up shop sooner!
I am based in the beautiful town of Kelso but you can find me at various events throughout the U.K.
I like to think I create items that are that ‘little bit different’ for the home, bursting with character and charm. which make my customers very happy. Take a look at some of my recent reviews.
Explore my blog to read my latest creations and inspiration. Also do sign up for my newsletter to receive the latest news and offers by email.
Enjoy exploring my shop and if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
Thanks for popping by!
